Please! It is essential that you read all of the instructions carefully. There are only 3 steps. Failure to follow directions will delay your athlete's registration and ability to participate.
1. Complete our online Registration form by May 5th, 2019.
Our program is open to athletes who have completed the fourth grade or older. Space is limited and preference will be given to current Punahou students. Current students who fail to register by May 5th forfeit this preference.
Please complete a separate registration for each athlete, e.g., if a family has two siblings registering, each athlete must submit his/her own registration form. Be sure to complete the form and read and accept all applicable releases: Waiver and Release of Liability, Consent to Participation of a Minor and Parent Authorization for Emergency Medical Treatment. Your form is not complete and cannot be processed unless all applicable waivers are read and accepted by the athlete and one of the athlete’s parents.

Withdrawals after June 1st may also be subject to a $30 administrative fee.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Select Athlete's Current Grade from the drop down menu below and be sure to list the Athlete's Full Name and also the athlete's Parent's name and phone number. Click the "Add to Cart" button to be taken to PayPal's site to complete payment of registration fees.

3. Register with USA Water Polo by June 1, 2019.
All participants in HIWP's 2019 Summer Program must register with USA Water Polo by June 1, 2019. USA Water Polo is a national organization that oversees water polo clubs all over the country. They require an annual membership, i.e., membership must be renewed every year.
If your athlete has been participating in 2019 ODP/J.O.s etc. or is already a member for 2019 you do not need to register again. But if your athlete is not a current USA Water Polo member, or was a member last summer (2018) and let his/her membership lapse, he/she will need to join.
To join or check your athlete's membership status, please visit USA Water Polo’s membership page at https://webpoint.usawaterpolo.com/wp/memberships/join.wp
Once at the USA Water Polo site,
(1) If you were once a member, but your membership has lapsed, expired, etc. click the "please login” link in the red lettering/box at the top of the form and log in first, then renew your membership as a Bronze Athlete ($40).
(2) If you are a new member, not a current or former member of USA Water Polo, just join as a Bronze Athlete ($40).
(3) When prompted to select a State, select Hawaii. Then use the Club dropdown menu and select "Hawaiian Islands Water Polo (461)" Our Club number is 461.
Important: Registration with USA Water Polo is not due until June 1st. If for whatever reason you end up not participating in Hawaiian Islands Water Polo, sorry but the USA Water Polo registration fee is nonrefundable. Please be sure that you will be participating with HIWP Club this summer before you register with USA Water Polo, but also be sure to register by June 1, 2019. (If your athlete is not a Punahou student, do not join USA Water Polo at this time; please wait until we have notified you that there is space in our program for your athlete before registering with USA Water Polo; USA Water Polo does not give refunds.)
